The car has no timing off idle, it bogged down hard, not spinning at all just no power and it did a 2.3 60 foot time, 14.3 at 98.69MPH. This was in very hot conditions as well but the MPH shows the car gained some good power as the best all motor MPH before was 97.3MPH on a cold night. It just needs a lot more timing in the lower rpm's and it will do a 13 second pass all motor with a 2.0 60 foot time easily...

How were you launching the car? Also get a 160 tstat.

WOW, my mostly stock 89 Town Car with almost 200k on it spun the tires off the line and still got a 2.1 60-ft time. Looks like it got going like a raped ape after that though, which is where I bogged :lol:
I tried flashing the converter and stalling it up to 2000rpm. It was dead hooking with no tire spin, it just didn't have any power off idle. I checked the timing and it was at 4 degrees at idle... every tenth in the 60 foot time is 2 tenths on the top end so with a 2.0 it would have ran a 13.7 in very hot weather conditions...

You have to get your sixty foot times down to 2.0s run high 13s N/A.

The track I run the most at is notoriously known to be slow as well. But knowing that, when you do put down good numbers, you know they could be better most anywhere else.
