FIANALLY got the Lincoln back. the rocker panels are repaired and sealed, the car got detailed. door handle fixed looks great. got the 3.73's, and the track lok put in, every things running great. very happy :invasion:

I'm still waffling between those gears (that I have) and 4.10's

I'm going boosted so I just don't know!!!!

whats trak loc. and what are the affects on your gas mileage with the 3.73s and or if anyone knows with the 4.10 as well. thanks.

The trac loc helps both tires transfer power to the road. You may notice a difference in the rain going around turns. I know I could feal the new unit when turning. Mileage should be close to stock with 3.73's.

4.10's, 4.10's, 4.10's, 4.10's,4.10's, 4.10's, 4.10's, 4.10's,4.10's, 4.10's, 4.10's, 4.10's,4.10's, 4.10's, 4.10's, 4.10's, I get 19 average and 27.5 hwy.

Boosted 73's or 10's.

I think I am going to trade up my 3.73's for 4.10's... I think I would be happier!

I have 3.73 gear in my 95 LSC and I turn off the trac loc so it doesn't hurt the axles.

your referring to traction assist or traction control, not "trac loc".
trac loc is the differential and you cant "turn it off".

Yes, you are right you cannot turn off the trac-loc, wrong terminalogy. I meant the trac control button.

You can turn track lock off... you put one wheel on pavement and the other on the gravel shoulder... spin the piss out of them and your tlock goes away...
