burnt cds in stock cd player

any of you all burn cds and put in the 10 disck cd player in the trunk? Mine dont recongize them

as long as its burned as audio for home or car it will work, if its mp3 format or any others it wont work. i use roxio and used to burn cd's for car or home and they worked fine in my stock changers, now with my kenwood excelon in the silverado i burn them as mp3 and usually cram about 100 songs on a single disc!

When I had the changer in it would always skip with burnt cd's but they would play fine anywhere else.

Where did you get the sonic program ?

I think I downloaded it needed a program to burn cds

You need to try different CD's. Try CD- and CD+ from different manufacturers and burn slowly you will find the ones that the laser in the changer will be compatible with. I found 1 that worked perfectly 8 years ago when I had my others (my current LSC96 doesn't work and I need to replace the system) but I can't for the life of me remember which manufacturers cd's worked.
