2006 Lincoln LS

Havn't been on the boards for a while. I'm not getting the A4 like i said in the previous thread because i didn't get the job that i was hoping to get.

But I've decided, instead of wasting about 45k for a new car, I'll get an 06 lincoln ls, since i love the LS.

I'm going to find one with the least amount of mileage, and with nav in it.

I know the Gen 2 LS is alot more reliable, but before i buy it, any common issues with the 06 ?

Hows the THX sound system?

Sure mines only had 5 coils replaced and the DCCV with <12K miles.

I love the THX system. Though I find myself sometimes maxing the volume and wanting more...

good call. you might be able to get lucky and find an 06 in good shape with 20-30k for 15-16k.

Yeah local dealer near me fully loaded 06 grey perfect condition. 18 thousand for 19k miles.

The THX system sounds even better after you Dynamat the rear deck subwoofers area. Although not as good as the 600 watt THX II systems used now by Lincoln. But as they all said, it is still an LS and all cars have issues.

Paid less with 9600 miles for mine 6 months ago. And there were plenty of 05-06s with 20-30k miles for $17k and down. Guy I knows sister just bought a 50k mile Gen2 I forget the year now for <$10k

I bought my 06 LS last Sept. It had 18k on it, they were asking 19,000 for it. i was able to talk them down to 17ish... they also offerd me an 100k bumper to bumper warrenty for an extra 1k. Out the door with the warrenty i got it for 21k. i absoultly love this car, since i have had it i tinted the windows, K&N intake, SCTX3 tune by ills, and just this past week i put custom 2.25 flowmaster exhaust on it.
