I havent posted in awhile mainly because I was so disgusted with my car that I had quit driving the damn thing because of a wicked pull when braking. I've replaced everything from pads to rotors to calipers. I put new upper and lower control arms on about a year ago when I did the coil swap, strut rod bushings and tie rod ends. I bled the brakes endlessly, replaced brake lines and ultimately got pissed off enough to walk away from the thing for awhile. I finally decided to tear the whole front end apart and investigate just what was going on and what I found really stunned me when I saw it. I pulled all the control arms off and found my 1 yr old TRW lower control arm ball joint completely frozen in place. I pulled the other side off and it was fine but I carried both of them back to Advance where I got them and raised enough hell that they gave me 2 brand new ones.I re-installed everything and no pull. I can't tell Ya'll how many hours I'Ve spent chasing this problem so if Ya'll are having a pull under braking check those LCA's even if they are new.

That's good to know. Mine has pulled left slightly for quite some time. I'll be sure to check into all the BJ's if / when I can be bothered to fix my car. (my TRW lowers are 2 years old now but only have 8K on them - could well have developed a bind from lack of use)

You shouldn't have had to raise hell. They are covered under warranty - a simple "these are defective, I'd like them replaced" would have sufficed.

After trying to fix this problem for so long and find out that it is a practically new part my blood was up and I think I had every right to raise a little hell.Yea they replaced them but that doesnt account for my time and aggravation. I know it wasn't their fault the part was defective but the little jerk working kind of implied that I had improperly installed them and that really pissed me off. So if I showed my ass, so be it, he should have kept his trap shut and replaced my parts without giving me any lip.
