I got a call today saying my car needed to be moved in storage so a guy could get his out for a show this weekend. It was so nice drawing the cover off of it and seeing it again! :D I missed it since last fall. It was good to see the air suspension was still up, though the back did drop a bit less then 1/2". The tires are still full to which is always a good sign. This beater Escort I've been driving just is no comparison at all. I really need to get it back here but I'm not convinced that the bad weather is quite over yet so it's going to sit for a little longer... man I need to move south, don't mind me while a shed a tear in the corner for a few, lol... :(

I live in Green Bay, just a few hours south of the border really. Just had some bad weather come through yesterday. But I came up from Richmond Indiana which is about 8 hours south. Green grass a trees in bloom. It was nice to see. Should have trees budding in my area in about two weeks.

Yes, it's been good here for the past while, and the roads are pretty clean from the heavy rains we had a few weeks ago. It's been pretty cold some nights though, so I'm worried if we get any rain on a cold night they'll dump more salt on the roads and I'll get stuck at work with a car I don't want to drive home in that crap!
I like Roadboss' idea, though I might have to drink the depression away of not driving it :D lol...

:Beer

Where in Ontario are you?

I think you're the 1st guy from Ontario I've ever noticed on here LOL.

Can remember that feeling of getting the summer car out every spring - Wheee!!! And the depression of putti- nevermind, there's months before that happens again.

Oakville. One of the guys I work with lives in Ingersoll :)

I didn't move the car till the 31st and my little trip to the shop to move my car landed me in the hospital for the night with CO poisoning. :( I was in there too long with a bunch of running cars, didn't think much of it or feel anything to bad till I got home and fell over. I checked myself in that night after falling a few more times and slowly getting worse. They put me on pure O2 and drew blood for a while to test me. I think it was an old Mercedes that did me in as it was belching some foul fumes when we started it. We had the door open and the fans going but apparently it wasn't enough! I've not been right the past few days at all and am still a bit dizzy, it's been almost like a two day drunk-fest without the drinking, lol :drunk:
I put the car back in the garage there as I'm not sure the weather is going to be great this weekend etc so it's going to be another 3 weeks or so I think till it's home for the summer...

Damn Icarus!

Be careful!

I think I did myself in one time, got back from the shop and fell up my stairs into my house and passed out on the couch lol....

damn kid lucky you woke up, that shyt is no joke. theres been plenty of times ive walked out side of the shop just to catch a fresh breath of air.

I feel your pain! My 65 T-Bird Convert. has not even been wet since 1982. It is hard to put them up for the season - but it is great when you do get them back out and on the street again!

I'm looking foreward to getting my '77 Mustang out of storage from my friends garage... It's not powerful at all, and it's ugly, but it's my first car and I love it and wouldnt change it a bit.

I'm glad I left the car in storage, woke up today to a bit of snow and salt layed down all over again :(

yea, I had my 75 grand prix out for the first time since early nov about a week ago.....it was soooo nice to take her out....say what you want but I'll still stand by it BEST CAR I'VE EVER OWNED! :)
