New struts

I want to change my front struts soon, Can I just go ahead and buy some tbird struts? Or do I need the kit from American air ride?

If you do Thunderbird struts can be used....

You can't replace the strut cartridges in the air struts... well that's kind of a lie... but to do it you will need to cut the old ones out and weld new ones in, and that is not an easy or safe thing to do.

t-birds have coil spring struts, you have air ride struts, you can put t-bird struts in if you want to lose your air ride. otherwise call ford and get new struts, or call arnott and call them again a week after you put theirs in your car!!!

" jamies98lsc " that is a busted strut, the bag is fine, sure it just looked crooked like you said, but what happened is the shaft inside the strut is busted, it happened to a mark i had in my shop once.
