Ls "fail"

To go WAY off topic for a minute:

The "hazing" you speak of can be avoided if someone "lurks" for a while, learns the way the board behaves, and actually learns the "search" function before posting.

Learning the way the board behaves would save you some of the hazing, because you would see how this is a more conservative site. We tend to be more "purist" when it comes to the LS. We are more secure individuals (at least the regulars on here, I can't speak for everyone) that don't need a bunch of flashy crap for attention. It's the subtle styling cues that radiate good taste, not 22" choppas and the brightest paint color you can find.

So when someone posts about some flashy accessory that sticks out like a sore thumb, the general consensus here will be disapproval.

Also, petty insults from a new member towards a more seasoned member are not something that will get you very far here (i.e. bringing someone's family/children into an argument). Bad form isn't going to be accepted by anyone here; in fact, bad form is what probably initiated the hazing to begin with.
 
actually i have been playing with the search tool......so you don't have to worry about that.

I would like to toss this in before I go out and waste all my money ( tossing pennies at hookers:D ) in AC. I sent PetesSweets a PM pretty much stating what you said in short hand. But, he ignored it

PetesSweets, I wont forget what you said about my wife and kids however I see you are changing your tone overall so I may just end up respecting you. But again. I WILL NOT forget what you said about my kids. Consider all things otherwise aside now.

Nor will I forget things said in harm towards me and trying to disguise my old pictures as "gay". Or the mocking of my job. I am sorry I had to go to that extent but even in fist fights...I go all out and attack at any weaknesses.

as for the PM I did read it but after I read it and looked at the forums there was a lot more hazing from you.....kinda felt like what you said was as a joke.


But anyways...moving on.
Anyone else got any rediculous videos or pictures of things done to a Lincoln...let alone an LS?

On page 3 he actually had his painted orange, looks better than I thought it would... not that I would ever own or drive something like that lol.

In his description though.. wtf are these guys thinking? He has interior shot that shows 5pd manual... then in stats it says 0-60 in 6 seconds... Top Speed 150mph.. and 270hp.. Thats one hell of a 3.0 LS
 
Yeah, the blatant lying on that site is frustrating. There was one guy who claimed a bunch of aftermarket accessories that aren't even available for the LS. I confronted him on it, and didn't get a response. But he did change his page right afterwards.
 
I'm just waiting for the fool to install weapons on his car like achine guns under the hood :P
