headers install amongst other things!

I've just been curious about them for if I do the cobra manifolds... they fit right into the machined surface on the manifolds...
 
I got them put in last week. It looks like the pass side hangs a bit lower (1 inch) than the drivers side.??? I talked to a tech at kooks and he said my motor mount might be bad. The drivers side mount felt worse than the pass side, that would make the headers hang lower on the drivers side. right? Any 1 have experience with this?
 
If they were physically the same length the only thing that could do that would be motor mounts, or having a tweeked k frame, but that would be pretty obvious.
 
I did not see anything wrong while I was under there. Could the headers be bolted on a little crooked? The tech at kooks said no, but I want to know from you guys! the experts!!
 
Have you put the K frame back in yet?

I would strongly strongly suggest new motor mounts since you have it dropped anyways.
 
No mounts. I will do it next time. It only takes me an hour or so to drop the K. the only problem is, my wife hates it when im in the garage for hours at a time!!! I could stay out there forever, I got heat, music, tools, and a fridge o beer!

Thats a deadly combo! i would never leave! literally! order pizza for food.. :)

If i had a garage with as many parts as you do, I would be in there in a second. I live in apartments, i can barely change a flat tire without management being on my ass!:rolleyes:

I have pulled a motor in an apartment parking lot before (almost). They yelled at me and tried to fine me. They said only "minor" repairs are aloud, I said thats "minor" for us! who is to say whats minor or major repair? they said "just put it back!" ( we didnt have it out all the way yet.)
 
Apt. complexes suck! I work by night to avoid drama - only to get the Police harassing me! (3 times now! Lol)
 
Lol... my mom has said that and just about every other thing you could think of... but thank god she still lets me work on my cars!

My Mom Rocks!
 
I just moved back in with the p's. I'm getting so much more work done on the mark. Just stored it today so now i have 4 months to work on it. 2.5 car garage with no cars in it.....yum....
