arnott inc.

I would not risk it, even with a low stress part like that. :)

arnott uppers are same quality as moog, trw's i have used them they are nice, just dont buy them that say OE Brand.

OE is made from REALLY cheap metal. I think they try to play on OEM by being named OE.

the chinese brand they sell on ebay, its called O.E brand, red boxes say O.E brand on them, they are total garbage just stay far away.

ya know i was looking at those today and was thinking that's a good price, maybe i should buy those. but then i thought to myself 66 bucks for the set, that's a little too cheap, something fishy. so i bought the arnott parts

Wonder who makes the Arnott ones? I just assumed they were 'marking up' and reselling the decent ones.

i wouldnt buy hand soap from napa, i dont understand how napa stays in business, their prices are absolutely rediculous.

I have Arnott upper control arms on my 93, still good for over a year now.
Have their compressor also, still good.

David

DO put them on the correct side and DONT put them on the wrong side.

You have to take out the bolt to get the upper control arm out. Don't just loosen it.

Oh and be careful of the Master Cylinder when taking off the driver's side.

if you remove the struts, take a flathead and pry all the flags off the heads of the bolts ( all 4 ) then slip an 18 mm wrench on the nut under the master cylinder and use a ratchet and 15 mm socket inside the wheel well, on the heads of the bolts and break it loose, i do this to everyone i work on it cuts an hour off the whole job , makes life alot easier and gives you more time to sip more beer after the job is done, you can sit back and admire what you did and get drunk too!!

yes they make noise, and if ignored long enough they will make an even bigger noise when they break, and also damage the hell out of the fenders when the tires get shoved into them!
