Still enjoying the ride man, haven't even done the tint yet. Usually I am right on with simple modes like that, but with this car everything feels so good that I don't even feel like changing anything...lol

I will start soon.
 
awesome ride! glad you finally got it detailed and lookin like a CL55 should :D , i hope my words had something to do with it!

those are such torquey sons of bitches. id love to have an E55!

EDIT: didnt see ur post about changing things.

take the resonators off and put straight pipes in. ive heard a few SLK55's like that, they sound sooooooo freakin mean. there not supercharged but it should still make the CL sound GREAT
 
Thanks guys, no no exhaust for me anymore. I am gonna go back to stock set up on the LS too. Although mine is not loud but even that minor sound on the freeway at cruising is driving me crazy.

Yea, I felt bad and went to carwash lol.

Clean your steering wheel!

Those cars are so much fun. Supercharger FTW!!!111 :p If you ever get a chance drive a 65. You might decide you don't like yours as much afterward... :shifty:

Haha I noticed that too, can't see in person, but shows with camera. I gotta go toothbrush on it!

Yea I know the 65 is a different animal. Our friend has a new CL600 and OMG that engine is amazing, sounds crazy, it barks. I don't like the 600 of my body style that much, the exhaust is too quite and you don't get few cool things that you get in 55.

The 65 is perfect but it's still kind of expensive.

What a POS. It only has 2 doors! you got ripped off. I paid way less for my car and I got 2 more doors for the price. If it will make you feel better I am willing to sacrifice and trade you straight up though. I am just that kind of a guy.
 
Noice. Question - Have you parked the CL55 next to the LS to check the C pillar slope, they look similar to me. I probably wont be back here tonight, going home from work. Whoo!

LOL, happens with alot of car shapes.


I always thought the 850BMW looked alot like a mid 90s T-Bird.
 
Yea, the CL and the LS are almost identical in sizes.

LS 114.5 wheelbase, 193.9 length, 73.2 width, 57.2 heigth

CL 113.6 wheelbase, 196.6 length, 73.1 width, 55.4 heigth

I can't believe that they are the same width, the CL is so much wider inside...
 
I'm glad he bumped, I never wouldve noticed that it's got no B pillar:eek: . It almost seems like it should be a hardtop convertible.
