The race at the Texas Motorplex is the final event of the 2008 FFW Drag Racing Series for the racers competing in the series points chase. The 2008 FFW Champions will be crowned during the Awards Banquet at the conclusion of the event. Texans will be out in force in every class, trying to keep the gold inside the Lone Star state. This is one of FFW's largest events of the season so make your plans early

Street Ford is a great entry level class which gives trophies for Winner/Runner up/Semi finalist.
Quick Ford is a good place to run if you wanna "run for the bucks"

Entry fee is for two days of racing, so if you enter Quick Ford for 85.00 that gives you TWO chances to WIN 750 dollars.. and if you "have a great weekend" you could pocket 1500.00!!!
We usually run in Street Ford AND Quick Ford.. if our budget allows.
Considering the "trip cost" I might not be able to run both classes..
AND.. I am still "tentative" on this race. I probably wont know until "just before the race" if I can make it.
BUT.. get all the dallas folks together.
IF you guys can get a small/decent group committed, it will make it alot harder for me to "miss this race".
HOPE to see you ALL in the lanes.. Hopefully "not in the other lane".. until the final ROUND!

you should plan on it, especially if you have never done it before.
Believe it or not, the mark 8 makes a great bracket car.
