While I was at work today I had an admirer of my LMS Cobrastar trunk emblem. The guy liked it so much he ripped it off the back of the trunk.:eek: WTF! Seriously are we in junior high here?! I would have been happy to show somebody where to get one....why would someone need to rip it off? Oh yeah, PUNKS, just like the guys who can't solve their issues with anything but a gun and lots of swears. Talk it out or if need be....fight. With fists like real men, not guns from across the steet going by at 30mph. If you like something somebody else has compliment them and ask where they got it. Simple. I can't stand all the dumbA#* people these days.:mad: Sorry for the rant. Gino when I order my right side emblem I think I'll add another trunk emblem too.:rolleyes: Oh well, keep an eye on your LMS gear 'cause I know the punks will be watchin' too. By the way I was on Multi-million $ private property(not mine:D ) when it happened. Go figure. BTW, anybody have a complete trunk emblem for sale? PM me, thanks guys. Again, sorry, but I needed to vent a little.
 
I agree Gino, thats why its better off I didn't catch him in the act. No, it didn't fall off. Saw it at morning break, at lunch it was gone. The metal bracket that remained was bent and cracked. Someone broke it off. No doubts at all. Thanks Kustom, that should be fine. Whats the 'beam'? Police spot light, iron bar??? Now I'm curious. I guess I could just Skeedoosh him kung fu panda style.:ricesmile :slap:
 
Only if you could have caught him!!! People like that have NO respect for anything & are trash!
 
welcome to earth. people steal because they can. thats why i dont want to bother putting a dime into either one of my lincolns, because thats all the world is full of now, people who wreck nice things just because they can, and thiefs who find it easier to make money by robbery vs getting a job. its only going to get worse too. now the news is drilling it into our heads here in florida to buy locking gas caps because people are stealing everyone's gas, ripping apart people air conditioners outside for the copper in them, and now they are going after newly constructed houses and ripping out all the wiring before the sheet rock goes up. they just gutted a house here that was being built for a family by habitat for humanity, these people lost everything they had in a huricane, waited 3 years for the house to be built, they were going to get the keys in a month, now they may not get the house till sept or october because electricians have to go back in and re wire the entire house again, as prices on everything go up sky high in this toilet country, so will more crime, it sucks, but get used to it, hide all your nice stuff.
 
Damn Man!! A little too late! literally an hour ago, i put my new cobrastar emblems on each fender... I was going to put them on the valve cover, but then at the last second changed my mind! Now reading this,... should have put them under the hood .. Crap!
 
That sucks.

Like Jamie said, they do it because they can.

We've had problems with people trying to steal computer bundles at my job (Staples).
 
Jamie97lsc is 100% correct about the copper theft. It is a HUGE problem here as well. The criminals are taking off the access plates to the street lights, tying the copper wires to the bumper of there truck & ripping the wires out. Then they recycle them! A salvation army thrift store was hit 3 times! They cut all of the copper A/C lines out.

I will still continue to keep my vehicles & house nice though. If I catch somebody in the act they are in trouble!

Oh, those locking gas caps they sell now a days are plastic. A simple ice pick through it will lock it together & open it up. Try to find a metal cap if you can.

If steeling copper is big in your area then the authorities should be watching the salvage companies for the stolen crap, they do around here. They have to cash it in ain't like they can sell it on the corner at nite for a buzz. Traveling out of the area of where it was stolen takes gas and thats at a premium too so its usually cashed in close, theives are stupid.

Seems to only happen in the ghetto here. As long as you know where that is your good.
 
It is getting pretty crazy now.

Locking gas caps won't cut it anymore. People have started poking/drilling holes in gas tanks for the fuel.

All I know is, if I catch someone screwing with 4 years of my blood/sweat/tears, they'd better have a gun!
 
Luckily I need some paint work so I didn't put on the side emblems yet. As far as copper goes, anyone trading in over $100 of copper gets their liscense plates photographed and ID copied. The worse the economy gets the worse theft and assults/robbey will get also. Just have to keep an eye on your stuff and protect your family. I don't like people messing with my 'toys' but I can buy new ones. If any thing happens to my family or friends I'm going Punisher on the punks. Hopefully that time never comes. Before this becomes a hatefest I have some info to pass on to you guys. I was on a job many years ago and the customer smiled and asked if most of the people I meet are nice or mean. I said nice, why? He said that he thought so. Why I asked? He said when your nice to people they're generally nice in return. If your an a@* thats what you'll get back. So try to be nice until you have a good reason not to be.:D
 
Reason why im getting a ccw at 21= any hardass wants to mess with my sh!t wont be walking away without sh1t in their pants. lol
 
They just pulled the ban on concealed handguns in Washington(?) and the NRA just put in a request to pull the ban in Illinois too. It will be interesting to see what happens. Somebody on here has the Quote "If you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns." on their avatar. Very true. :cool:
 
That also means you have 4 justices who are idiots. By the way, most if not all vehicles built since 1994 have baffles inside the fill tube to prevent hoses from going down into the tank. You can't still gas anyways.
