hey everyone? well my wife just got through driving my car all day parked it in the garage, for about 30-1 hour. went to go to the store and tried to crank my car and all she got was a clicking sound. but the radio lights and everything was working. so i told her to stop trying to crank it. so she tried again and she said it acted like it wanted to start like a whooo whoo slow starting sound but it didnt start, she took the key out and the alarm started going off which is was my factory alarm, not my viper alarm. so she waited another day so she tried again and it just clicked, the alarm still works, but the radio doesnt work now but the lights do still. to remind u i have a power full system in my car 3 amps 2 jl audio subs 12w7 2 yellow top batteries, a relay, a batcap 400 and a high output alternator now i went through 4 alternators, and this one lasted almost a year. now she said there was no messages that came up when she was driving it, she says now the traction control light comes on when she tries to start it and the gauges moves up and down.

Yep sounds like what happened to me 2 weeks after i got the car.. get a new batt and everything should be fine. although i got the trac light 1 or 2 times after replacing the batt so idk about that.

yeah but how is it going to be running then when u turn it off for 10 minutes and then try to start its totally dead?

I have seen an altenator go bad and short three batteries with. While to truck was running.

You could simply have a bad battery or a bad altenator.

Are you still running the stock altenator? If so, switch to a high voltage altenator. Should solve your problem. The high voltage altenator will run a lot thou.

he said he went through 4 alternators already, i think that's the problem.
