Since the Kaos Verdes were on backorder for 45-60 days, I cancelled the order and went and got these from a guy off Craigslist. They're the KMC Dime with 245/45-18 Nankang or something tires. He even through in those all weather rubber mats with Lincoln logos that you see behind the car in the second picture.

The car is disgustingly dirty, but whatever :D

Oh yeah, if anyone local is looking for wheels, there's someone on Craigslist NYC that's selling a set of 19" Zenetti wheels with tires for $1200.

I didnt like those but now after seeing them on your car those are sweet looking!!! Good work!!

That was fast! Those look good man. Now, what the hell are you doin with the OEM ones?;)

Thanks guys.

If I wasn't off today for an interview, I probably would have waited for the other ones. This is all Nick's fault. :D

As far as the stockers, I'm thinking I'm gonna keep them and throw some winter tires on it out back.

Looks hot man, I really like the wheels. Fits nice too. How's the ride?

I am most likely gonna be in Brooklyn on 23-25 weekend, wouldn't mind checking out the car.

Took it for a quick ride, doesn't really seem any different (worse). We'll see!

And PM me with the details when you're gonna be here and whatnot. We'll hook up :Beer

They look good. Wash and tire shine is in order. Did Nick ever wind up buying those Stern wheels?

nankangs are garbage tires..... I almost died on 2 sets. Just dont expect alot out of them.

They look awesome. That's probably my new favorite wheel setup for this car. What are you going to do next? I'd do brakes since the wheels are going to attract more attention to that part of the car.

Don't believe so. I thought he was getting them from you?

Yeah, I'm not too worried. Nick has a spare set of 18" tires sitting around, so worst case we can switch 'em if need be.

I'd be lying if I said that I didn't tell Nick earlier that I wasn't too crazy about them. They're one of those wheels that look better actually on the car. I'm pleasantly surprised. I've already got a PM into Ken for the Stoptech lines, EBC rotors and pads. The car needs brakes anyway, plus like you said, the wheels attract attention now. I've also got some kit sitting around to paint the calipers black, so it should look decent once it's done.

Thanks again for the comments guys.

Looks Great!!!! The stance is perfect. As for the Nankangs, I have been running them for 2 yrs now and they are great in the wet stuff. Grip good going thru the turns too. They will get a little noisey after about 6-7000 miles.

Thats sweet, thats one of the wheels I'm thinking about too. Guess I'll be looking for somthing else now.

Nope, couldn't ever go through with it with a clear conscious knowing someone just posted my wheels for 500 brand new on ebay. Ebay ruins my damn life. I bought them for 950ish new and now they drop that much.

Thanks for your honesty, most people would not have been so honest, you belong on the "good people to deal with" list. :)

nice car overall, and the wheels just put the icing on the cake, good job!!!

Hey wait! Those aren't real 2piece wheels!!!!!!!;)

J/K

Mine are estimated to arrive on the 8th.

Hey NYC, I would like to see this car in person one day. I come up to the city once or twice a year.

I admire the clean look and presence that car brings to itself. Thats how I want mine done up. Clean cut!

Oh and BTW I could find those other wheels posted on the Craig list. I did how ever get a chance to see the wheels you got. That damn car they were on was nice but the funny thing is for some reason they look like they belong on your car more.

Those are purty. They also sit pretty damn flush, what's the offset?

Excellent selection. (Like the paint color too)
