M3 Spoiler?

i've been back and forth about this spoiler and finally decided to get it yesterday. well the seller who sells them no longer carries them in my color (bummer). i see another vendor but it's like 40 bucks more and the seller that no longer carries them was the "recommended seller" of this item. does anyone know where i can get it for the price that http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...STRK:MEWA:IT&viewitem=&item=290225304277&rd=1

was selling them?
 
I have only seen two colors listed, Silver Birch and Black. Luckily my LS is Silver Birch.

so maybe i'll go with them. it's just the fact that this one with shipping is 90 and the other one was a lot cheaper. i'm going to bite the bullet and buy it unless someone can point me in the right direction. this might sound stupid but if it's an M3 spoiler has to be the one specifically for the M3 right? i'ma try looking for their spoilers
 
i like that little lip. eventually i wanted to get something on the larger side but that is nice. thanks for posting the link... hey maybe i'll pick it up and you can see how looks on this LS :cool:

Ask the seller the length, mine is about 47.5 ins.

Due a search on EBay for M5 lip, there a few and as long as it is made of polyurethane and about 47.5 ins. long it should work. Polyurethane is very flexible and you shape it as you install.

Stupid question. Why not paint it? Is there something I am missing. I looked at the same auction on Ebay. I am considering buying it. Is there an issue in painting them? I know you need flex additive. Not a problem. Or is there something else?
 
Thats what Im saying. The one I linked to is dirt cheap.
 
i can only find the 47 inch spoiler. nobody has the 47.5 one. i do not want to paint the silver birch one because it's just a hassle if i'm able to just pick it up in my color in the first place. some say they are made of rubber, polyurethane is a little more difficult to come by
 
As you can see even at 47.5 ins there is still about 1/2 in short on each side, for me it looks fine.

For $38 and 48in long, not bad, paying with Paypal you have protection even from Taiwan. It installs the same as the others, with that tape it is not going anywhere, and easy to take off if you get tired of it. Being of Rubber Material should not make a difference.

There is a great looking red M3 in the neighborhood with the spoiler that ends about ½ in on each side.

There are a number of different great looking spoilers on members LS’s on this form so whatever you like even no spoiler looks good just not the picnic table wing unless it is for track.

one last question guys. is the trunk lid the same on first and second gens? a seller on ebay told me he can make one to fit my car exactly. if they are the same then i'm going to go 48" inches since greg says that his is 47.5" and it still has some space on either side. please correct me if i'm wrong anyone
 
PM Machspeed he may still have that black one he was selling back in February.
