I copied this pic from an earlier post and would like to know what the parts are that I have circled. I am getting to know the LS a little better after only a few weeks.

Okay, left to right:
Throttle Position sensor (TPS)
Vacuum line
Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve

Last one... I'm not really 100% sure but I think that's a fuel regulator of sorts

And for reference... what is listed as the degas bottle... is not the degas bottle. The degas bottle is the over-flow tank for the radiator; it's where you pour in your coolant.

The fuel pressure regulator is the mechanism at the other end of the tube---attached to the fuel rail. To the small extent that I've played with it, it seems to sense pressure and tell the fuel pump to 'step-up' the pressure because of demand.

The cap on top is for letting the trapped air out of the cooling system.

the deguass tank is actually under the cowl driver's side, at the base of the window - there is a lid where you add coolant. The thing you have circled is the top of the cooling tree.

IB the vavle is simply a backpressure check vavle to check the fuel in the rail from bleeding back into the line/pump/tank when the car is off.

AHHHHH okay; I've not really gotten into the fuel system. I did think it an odd place for a regulator when all other ford models run it on the rail. I just assumed it were some sort of secondary reg or sensor of sorts. But, good to know!!! That could be the culprit if having starting issues
