and what are the best things to use to stop frozen doors and locks! I have been doing all the normal stuff, but this rain then freeze is leaving me out in the cold!!!

Thanks Chickie, I finally got Little B's door to shut, but afraid it won't last long the lock looks trashed. When I drove home holding the door, I also did a little pulling away of the door cover dmamage too...lovely ;)...

Any thing that works Hotties?

Smooches n thanks in advance!

I don't warm it up. After it idles down to around 600 rpm, I drive off.

I just don't go beyond 2000 rpm until after the temperature gauge reaches the "L" of NORMAL.

I do the same.

As for the doors, I have heard of some using bees wax chap stick. What ever you use, make sure there is no petroleum products in there.

Well the strange thing about the 95, she'll have heat in 3-4 mins but it takes forever for that temp guage to move!!! A good 10 mins before it budges!!....oh and the rpms are stuck too, but I dont mash her when I know she's not warm enough, so I would safely say I dont go over 2000 either.

Thanks!

If the door won't close, manually operate the outside door handle, then hit the door locks open and closed and then finally operate in the inside door handle a couple of times, preferably after spraying some WD 40 or similar in the
lock.

MM, thanks on the door info., I tried everything then saturated it with PB, finally the lock gave after much persuasion with a screw driver. It was just not releasing, I think half froze, half broke.

lol, well it might be me, I just opened the door to the oven and it fell off..lol

Thanks again! any no freeze ideas?

I let her warm up for at least a few minutes when she's cold. I don't ever start her right up & drive off. Rather be safe than sorry.
