Rims

They will NOT work. You Need a bolt pattern of 5x4.25. Mustangs are too big with a bolt pattern of 5x4.5.

you will have to do a mustang hub swap and get wheels for an 05 and newer mustang as they have the closest offset to a mark.

Find used rear 98 cobra's hubs (trust me it won't happen, just buy new from Maxx $180.00). Front hubs and rotors from a 94-04 mustang and all the bearings to go with that. I got mine off e-bay, complete spindles and hubs for $70.00 shipped.

You will have to modify the rear mark rotors to just fit over the cobra hubs, A friend and I have done that and have had no problem with vibration.

Then just get whatever mustang wheels you want, pending the offset and width are correct.

Your looking at $250.00-$350.00 for the conversion, plus new rims and tires, but mustang rims are cheaper.

I've got 17x11 and 17x9.5 Torque Thrust II on my stang and I don't think they make them 10.5 in 4.5 bolt pattern but I might be wrong. My brother might be doing a 4.5 hub swab on his blown 98 LSC over winter time,so we'll see how they will look on his car .

99 cobra hubs not 98! I did the swap it cost me about 300 for all new hubs and another 100 to have all my rotors redrilled to the 4.5x5 bolt pattern. Wheels and tires were free from my friend. (98 cobra wheels)

since we're on the topic of hub swaps... Can the cobra brakes be swaped over as well?

Sorry typo, 99. Go to max @ 5 star, I know you can get them for under 60.00 a hub or www.rockauto.com has them too. Front rotors from any 94-04 mustang will work, get used for 10 bucks and have them turned, rear can just take a dremel to and make them fit

The rear rotors wont work, not because of the bolt pattern but because there bigger then the mark rotors, so you would have to find a way to move the caliper out if you wanted to use them. You can do it but it just takes more money like everything else.

I have the hub swap with full cobra brakes in the front and cobra rotors with a mark viii calipers in the rear.I purchased brackets from a guy on the super coupe forum a few years back that moved my mark viii calipers far out enough to clear the cobra rotors. The mark viii pads in the rear have a bigger surface area then the cobra ones but the cobra rotors are alot bigger.

so cobra brakes are a direct swap on the front, but to do caliper and rotor on the rear would require a special bracket of sorts, correct?

Yes ,for the front you just have to do a little grinding on the flex hose end on the passenger side to fit on the caliper and make sure you get the correct thread banjo bolts some are a fine and some are a thicker thread.I think you need the thicker one but not 100% sure it was a while ago when i did my swap.
