Who else has sold their Mark and regretted it?

Here ya go, Dont have the rims yet though

I might be a little regrettful, but not horribly. Mine was a piece of trash. If I had a good mark, I would have definately regretted it. Either way, I want another 4v 4.6 soon. I dont think Im gonna get a mark again though, I guess a cobra is more suited for what I want.

Haven't sold either on mine, working on resurrecting my first one at the moment, it's taken almost a year but I'm well on my way. I'll get my revenge on that damn deer! Bought a new header panel, picking up a hood this weekend, bought a used headlight assembly off ebay, need a drivers corner marker light still, need to find a grille (might try to go custom), need the chrome strip for the front, new drivers side fender, and I'm back in business. Didn't realize the list was that extensive!

Which brings me to a good question. Does anyone know if there is a company that makes an airbag insert for the passenger side airbag. I know there is a company that makes the cover for the drivers side, but haven't been able to find one for the passenger side. Guess a guy could always do some fiberglass work and make one. I might be able to create a mold from the old piece. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Bought a red supercoupe when I wanted a black one, traded the red one for a black one, missed the red one. Bought a '93 viii while working on the black one, decided I liked the mark enough to sell the SC. Sold the 'viii because I didn't like the blue interior, car needed work, sold it. Missed it too.

So I bought the current one. Out of 5 girlfriends I've had 3 inside and two on the hood. Been to 9 states so far with it and about 100k miles. 3 paint jobs and 3 accidents, and I still manage to keep it mint. I'll never sell it, it can't be replaced and I know later I'd hate having let it go.

I'll add and subtract newer cars to my garage, but this one will always be there. I've bought newer cars and sold 'em cause I enjoyed this one more. It's 11-12 years almost 13 years old and I still like it more than what newer cars offer. I passed up buying an '04 BMW M3 because even though it was worth the bank payment, I still wouldn't love it more than this car. And girls hear this car's 12 years old, and don't think I have money. And I like that just fine.

Lol how do you drive with girls on the hood? :D Keep the 'hump' on the trunk! Just dont get caught. :shifty:

Cry, Cry, Cry

I just joined to share my misery amongst all.

1) Bad-I sold my beloved 93 Mark that I bought brand new in spring '94(upgraded to 98 Octastar wheels, LED/HID lighting and lowered were the only mods) Three weeks ago to my mother-in-law so I could put a higher down payment on a new BMW M5 (hence the moniker). I bought a 99 Continental two weeks ago to ease the withdrawl pains.

2) Worse- Nothing against larger people, but she weighs 300 lbs

3) Crap!- She called me over the weekend and asked me if the next time I come to visit if I could bring touch up paint and my body repair kit! Seems she hit a retaining wall while pulling into a parking lot and also has some scratchs cause by "some bushy thing" at her workplace.

Do I regret selling it? There aren't enough crying towels in the world!

(She did pay me $5,500 for it though. Under 100k on the clock-but it was perfect in every way...)

If I could find another Mark in better shape for the same price, Id probably take it as I havent had this one that long. Cant find a better one tho, and Im already in $1400 or so for new headlights, cornerlights, and some new suspension pieces, and still havent fixed front airbags yet.

I would take a Mark VIII over any pre-05 mustang, but the one thing that makes me want a newer car is the Rust! You find it everywhere, although its only just starting to affect the paint, it still really bugs me.

lol, yea i saw that...Looks like they might just break even if talked down..:)
