Ok I tried changing my fuel filter but Couldn't get it off. Its different from my 97. So I only had the bottom part off. I put it back on and now its leaking from the bottom part. Ok, I will just take it and have it done by someone else. It cost me $104 to get a freaking fuel filter changed:mad: They came back and told me "well we put the new fuel filter in but its still leaking. It would take $144 because it needs an O ring. They would need to Refabricate the fuel lines. Now Help me out guys, how can I fix this fuel leak?

If you go to Advance they have the parts to Fab u a new connection, if neccessary

why were you having a problem with the filter you need a spec tool for it you can use a small hose clamp break off the screw adjuster on it and slide over the line then work it into the o ring part work back and forth to release make sure to take the plastic clips out if there on that model before attempting. replace o rings filter part store will have

Ok Well I got a new fuel line connector.(inlet, female) How would I go about installing this? It came with the fuel line connector and long cylinderical metal.(copper color)
This is how I am thinking about doing this. Relive the pressure. Take out the fuel filter from the broken female part(were its leaking from) Right now it justs pops out, so I don't think I would need the tool.:shifty: replace it with the new fuel line connector and connect it back to the fuel filter. Now do I need the tool to put it back in or does it just click in?

Thanks in advance

which car is this post a pic of the problem and yes it should click back in
