Spring Feature for sale in Sarasota!

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but my search for a Mark VIII in my area turned up what appears to be a Spring Feature base model, currently available in Sarasota, FL for just short of $9k!

I'm pretty sure $9k is out of my price range and even if not, I'm not sure I'd like to take such a beautiful and rare Mark VIII as my daily driver. So, whomever wants it go for it! From the pics online, it looks to be in great condition and from the price, I'm guessing whomever had it before now had some idea of what they had on their hands and treated it as such.

This car was originally purchased at an auction by Wilde Lexus-Jaguar and had a $6900.00 price tag on it at that dealership. I looked at it and it was in decent shape but two wheels were on backwards, and still are at this dealership, chrome worn off a couple of spots on the grill, headlights needed cleaning, and a 6x4 inch spot on the driver's seat needs to be re dyed. The sides were dimple free and the paint looked in decent shape. This place is trying to make an extra two grand from what it was originally priced at.

Speaking of the spoiler is that aftermarket or did it come with the "spring special".

Probably ordered that way and the sunroof was added at this used car lot so that may account for some of the 2 grand but they still haven't changed the passenger front and drivers rear wheel.

Verrry Pretty,i Always Loved Gold Lincolns, I Owned 2 Before Ya Know The 88&89's And Loved How The Color Bounced From Diff Light Durring The Day,i Can Imagine With This One And 30 Something Miles..i Loved To Pplay With That..it Probably Has The New Feel Engine I Guess.you Know What Im Say People-right? The 10 HP difference is not something you could even measure, short of putting the car on a Dyno.

"seat of the pants" will never "see" 10HP..its a placebo effect more than anything else.

It'd be roughly the difference between having a spare tire in your car, and not... or a very small child as a passenger.

that looks like a Taurus spoiler. is that an ivory interior? doesnt look right on the pics........

When I looked at it, I thought it was a Taurus spoiler but it seems alot narrower and it has a center piece that rests on the hump and I don't think that is the way they are on the Taurus but I could be wrong. Happy 4th to everyone!
