I'm trying to teach myself to stall the converter at launch, that didn't help. One time I hit the throttle too hard and 'pushed' through the lights.
I hadn't really planned on going, so I had nearly a full tank of gas.
I left the front skinnies at home - didn't feel like changing 4 wheels for a T&T.
The track elevation was 1200 feet and it was over 90 degrees at the track with a low pressure system moving in. Density altitude was in the 4500-5000 foot range. With perhaps one exception, I think it was the worst air I've ever run the car in. I did manage to hit a 13.9 - once out of 6 runs.
{Enough excuses yet? LOL}
The good news was even in the crappy atmosphere, I was testing dialing in the ET using real time weather stats and was well within a tenth with all my dial-ins except one 'breakout' by about 0.005 seconds.
