Hello LS community. I've owned Chrysler, Toyota, Nissan, Dodge, Oldsmobile, Volkswagen but my 06 Lincoln LS so far is the best. I absolutely love the auto-dim feature. Extremely useful on the highway when someone has their high beams on. A lot of times I don't even realize that they have high beams on that's how useful this feature is!
Now, I noticed that my driver's side mirror and inside rear view dim but the passenger side does not, I've been doing some Googling and this seems to be the case across many different vehicle manufacturers. The thing is nobody is asking why was this done? Sure there are a few responses such as cost-cutting and increased visibility for the driver when changing lanes. But if that was the case, they'd cut it for the driver's side too because I also turn left, not just right.
So, I hail to you, all mighty gurus :gr_hail:, why did Lincoln leave out the passenger side view auto dim feature?
