Ever since I recharged my A/C unit I've been experiencing hesitation with acceleration. I can bring the car up to 60 in a few seconds with ease if I floor it from a dead stop with the ac off. But if I have the ac on, the car revs up to 4000-5000rpm then shifts to second. It feels like I'm towing an elephant. Any ideas?

Normal... the LS is a pussy with the A/C on.

I am not sure about it being that extreme. But it is definitely different with the AC on. It may be pyschological, but I also feel like gas mileage with the AC on is dramatically reduced as opposed to other vehicles.

I normally use the 4/80 A/C when I'm driving alone, but I've not really noticed that much difference between A/C and non-A/C driving over the same route. The best mileage I've ever gotten was with the A/C going; I might've gotten even better without it, but west Texas in July is bad enough with it running. :D
