Come see my new MK8!

God that is funny watching you point to your buddy to get over to the other side.
Did you get his crate engine also?

How big of a crowbar did you need to get your wallet to give up that kind of cash?
:)

Nice to see that car go into good hands

I knew it was gonna kill the pass tire and I wanted you guys to have a good show. No I didn't get the NOS engine he had. I paid close to the same he wanted for the (1500)engine for the car. I bought that 1998 64K engine for 50 dollars to go in this, thinking HG was bad. I have put 65 miles of around town and highway miles and not a problem!

Sweet man! That car looks good..funny I just re read through his for sale ad the other day over on LOD..that paint does look good..worth saving it and spot repairing the front and rear bumper. Aren't those rims kinda trashed from moisture though? If theres anyone who should be able to diagnose something as simple as a had gasket it should be you..hopefully it doesn't turn out to be as much of a headache as sprocket's 96.
I am now trying to find paint to like you said spot fix bumpers. I hit my buddies autobody shop on way home with car so he could see it and what's the deal. I am trading him that Tremec trans I got for him doing paint work. Yes the chrome on rims is not great. I might get rims powder coated or do the plastadip deal.

First but not last time on the lift.

Those gt rims actually don't look too bad on this car..maybe it goes better with this color than they did on the old red dragon lol. Once its lowered a bit it should look reaall niiice.

No matter what ppl say this car is an amazing find. You have a solid Gen 1. Last year I was trying to pull money from places I didn't have just to buy this car. That's how much I like it.

As for the GT wheels? Definitely an upgrade. Sensor lower it & call it a day for now. Take care of the more important things. The car looks wicked as it is!

Forgive my ignorance, but who's car was that and why is it so special? Besides all the nice parts..

Some guy named iced8...spend a ****load on paint and wheels all to sell it for dirt cheap since it aparently had a bad head gasket..the guy must not have tried diagnosing anything with it since frank has been driving it around without issue..

that's about what i know about it..
neat paint and wheels. but didn't think it was anything special otherwise. i dunno.

It has been for sale forever and has history.

It has taken a long time for the price to drop to a point that it couldn't be passed on.
It couldn't get into better hands.

The drive train is like 100% stock. Right down to having the air cleaner snorkel in. The only HP mod is a chip, for now. LOL. The car has been kept in a garage for 10 years and not driven. Its real clean with zero rust. I wanted a nice looking car to go with the fast. Plus now I can put all the Cobra intake stuff on without any mods to fit under hood of Gen 1. I am wondering if I can fit the eaton under this hood?
