Hey, new here to the site, im doing this sort of backwords, already been posting, and getting advice, but i guess i should introduce myself.. im a previous owner of an 88lsc, and now a proud owner of a 2000 lincoln ls, its my 300$ car and well worth the doh, anyways, look forward to the advice and help, and i hope to help out best i can aswell! cheers

you buaght it for 300? nice does it need work or does it run and drive?

pics are a must

well, i techanically didnt buy it for 300$, i started with a 300$ outdated lawnmower and just kept trading up lol! traded for a saturn, then traded the saturn for a sunflower on air, traded that heep for an older motorcycle, then got lucky and found this car, buddy had lost his license and wanted a bike to rebuild! so made a trade! so ultimately, shes my 300$ ride! shes had a misfire since day one and i finally had er scooped yesterday, she was only running off bank 1, all bank 2 except for clyinder 4 were misfiring! so, took her home, tore her down and found that the secondary tensioner was just dinked! so another 300$ just spent got me a new tensioner, just waiting on someones more advanced knowledge before i put it back together...i think timing may have skipped a tooth due to the ruins! pics will be up in a few!

Kid I used to know had a sun fire and we all called it a sunflower to piss him off.

He also thought he could rap and was a drift racer.

Not a bad starting point. Looks like its had some work done to the rear...Gen II 2 trunk and tails.

yeah i had to repair the quaters, and got an awesome deal on the trunk, tails and actually waiting on the rear bumper from the shop, being plastic welded... 275 for all, oh and i also got front fenders included at that price.. one being steel..did not kno you could get them in steel, i thought only aluminum, must be replacement part

this is all they had (the white one) and i needed my car back as its the only car i have on the road atm, so couldnt wait... and she has 270km... but when i was in there, i noticed previous work and markings, so im assumin timing chain or something in there has been serviced before, so not sure if the orange tensioner is the original, but its deffinatly got some kms on it haha.just put everything back together, and she runs like a dream! misfires are gone, no more clinging noise! iam just thankful i got to it when i did and it didnt cost me more money!!!

You didn't opt to get the upgraded metal ones ?

How many miles (Kms) on those ?

Good stuff, up and running right that's what counts.

Sweet job on up-trading from an outdated lawnmower to a Lincoln LS.

+1 Welcome again.
