Sorry I didn't take more pics, but it was unseasonably warm at 81 yesterday and when I finally stopped dusting my car for the umpteenth time, I was fried. I thought the car looked absolutely amazing and many people of all ages really enjoyed her. For some odd reason, the show forgot to award the category that the car would have fit the best in, 1997-2004. Oh well, at least my car is monumentally clean... for the moment!
We'll have to just try again
I did meet a really cool (and hot) fireguy from Modesto with the red Lightning and he seems to be up to some pretty good racing antics with his sweet ride. I still love those trucks and his was primo.
I have to also say that it can't be that difficult to have a perfectly spotless engine when the damn thing is surrounded by nothing. You could put a recliner in front of most of those street rods and work on 'em. Just sayin. Not jealous, however, because every single time that I go to start my car, it does so without hesitation. I'll keep my old new tech, thanks!!!
:L
And my little promo flyer since I debadged the car:
