Over priced for sure but looks like it has potential..guy says its rust free, has a few dings, scratches here and there, converted to coils and a busted grille, I'd say more around $2000-$2500 would be fair, rare car though.

This car minus the wheels is sweet. Price wise it's a but steep considering it's high on miles.

Just a question...is that the Mystic paint...the same as the Mustang?

No mystic is a darker purple greenish color only available on those cobras, chameleon was its own color only offered on the 95 mark viii, and only like 200 were ever made.

I've never seen it on craigslist before, or at least not in the last year and a half..and I check the Chicago craigslist religiously, that other mark you posted is gross..I've seen that thing before parked in a lot in north chicago before it was for sale..about the only cool thing about it is the black interior.

I meant the one I linked to has been mentioned on here before. The one you posted looks very familiar, think he's a member on one of the boards.

There are two different mystic paints.
96 Cobra Mystic. Darker and more purple-ish

And then the 2003 Cobra Mystichrome. Lighter purple and a tad more green and blue

But imo, the paint on the Mark Viii (not the original Chameleon, the repainted one) resembles nothing like none of those two :/

Yeah that other mark mark viii for sale with the rediculous rims is just a custom repaint..and I'm sure it isn't of factory quality either.

That chameleon would look sweet next to my mystic... But I don't want to buy anymore marks..
