I drive a 2000 Lincoln LS 3.9L V8 when i started my car in cold weather it would wind up and make a sort of belt noise, so then my dad and i added more coolant and it stopped winding up in the cold weather. the next day i got home parked my car and got out and smelt antifreeze. i opened the hood and it was smoking from the coolant reservoir. so we stopped the winding up noise and now its smoking. Note: The car was not overheating and the heat was working great at the time. Thanks:
