Eibachs in the Front only?

Where did you get your rubber pieces? I would like to go up just a smidgen. I'm tired of running into parking blocks and scrapping driveways with my Eibach's.

I cut them out of some thick firm rubber we had in the shop at the time, I dont remember what the rubber was actually for, or you can search something like this if find the right size;

I am running the same size tires, wheels, and Eibachs. I would post pictures. But out of town. If you drop the rear.you will rub on dips. I have subs and box in trunk. No spare or jack. When I do rub, it's at dips in the road at highway speeds.

@blwnbyu,
Your LS as is sits now, IMHO looks fantastic, if you like it and it's a pleasant ride, isn't that all that matters ?

Enjoy it !

HDR Pics are killer !

They are just the same Sentas that everyone else is running..

I am really glad I did not try the Giovannas though.. The 38mm offset would have been about fender flush.

It is nearly flush but believe it or not, there is still some room there to play with if someone chose to.

It all comes down to a matter of taste.

I like anything up to flush.. It's disgusting how far in the factory wheels sit.. I just put amazing new studded snow tires on them, but I can't get it in me to put them back on lol. they are hideous.

I like the wheels you have, and I like to take up the whole wheel well.

But like I said earlier, my Sentas do not stick out in any way whatsoever. The wide angle lense I was using definitely has a donkifying effect :D

I just got it aligned.

I'm a little worried about the Negative Camber. He said it wasn't really adjustable. I believe it is at -1.7 right now. I most definitely don't want to eat the corners off my nice new Nittos.

What are everyone elses' lowered alignment specs?

Would the offset bolts help with this?

The Sentas have 255/35/20 Nitto Motivos

The snow tires have 215/65/16 Hankook Winter Ipike with studs.. I think I could drive up a waterfall with those beasts. I'm blown away how well they did on solid ice covered with a fine layer of powder, which is about the slickest condition you can have

Chassis balance is everything!

He means it's mainly the car.

As far as snow handling? lmao. Not so much.
It does help that the car is almost 50/50 but it's still worthless with a regular tire.

I can't make it out of the driveway with the Coopers.

The nittos do pretty decent on hardpack, but still get stuck in powder deeper than 4 inches. They are rated as an all season, and they do pretty good for what they are, but I still would not attempt to take them out in heavy snow.
In the first Senta pics I took, I was actually stuck and couldn't back up anymore, which is why I never angled the car anymore than it was.

The Hankooks will flat drive through anything. It helps that they are the consistency of a pencil eraser with studs sticking out of them. I tried getting stuck with them.. It wasn't possible.

In snow, tires make or break a car.

I've run a Mustang around in the winter with studs like it was built for it, but not the Cobra :)

It doesn't have to be snowing for the tires to make or break the car. Tires are very important regardless of the seasons.

Wide tires are no good in the snow, that's why you had trouble backing up. I never had problems with the LS in the snow, even with the crappy OEM tries.

It looks like you have the good tensioners. Its the orange thing between the cam sprockets. Yours have the all metal body which is good. Earlier versions were all plastic.

Yes, the piston between the sprockets is all metal. Thank You

I was really impressed with how clean everything was. No caked on oil. It literally looks brand new :)

Just measured mine. 27 inches in the front & 26.5 inches in the rear. I have Eibach springs pro-kit. Same size tires and Sentas. No spare or jack in the trunk. I do have two subs and a box in the trunk thou. Not sure if this helps you much or not. Some profile shots.

Thank you Rollin. I hate that they cut the front wheel well higher. So even though the car is actually perfectly level, there is more front wheel gap.
I too have my sub, but my box is extremely light, although I do have a spare, jack, and amp.

For now the eibachs are staying out, until I can have a spacer made and then I'll install them, but I definitely want to keep some rake. I'm extremely happy with how it has turned out now.

The factory wheels were so hideous I didn't think I could ever make the car look good lol. The Sentas DEFINITELY look so much better in person. I still can't understand why pics just don't do them justice.

Oh, something else showed up today too :)

caps by MattWhidden, on Flickr

I read in another post that you ordered these. Were they cheaper ones off of eBay or are these real deal Jaguar center caps? Reason I ask is that my cheaper eBay ones you can push in on the Jag and it moves like the double sided tape is letting up on the back.

I ordered them from gbparts or something.. The logo appears to be part of the cap??

Thanks for the link. The Jag or the center cap haven't fell off yet so I'm not worried.
