I haven't had any real bites on the Mark, and I sold my pitiful little honda, so I am rebuilding the Mark VIII.

For starters I will be swapping out the slipping trans with a race built one. Then I will be replacing the blown brake line with brand new stainless braided line from Paragon Performance.

While the brake system is being worked on, I may as well do Rotors and ceramic pads. I found these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Front-Rear-...VIII|Submodel:LSC&hash=item3f1b321caa&vxp=mtr on ebay, but i'm never sure about ebay parts. Any suggestions?

How did i figure they would be drilled and slotted? LOL

The cheap parts store stuff works for me. I always buy cheap rotors and decent pads. Has worked very well.

Read my mind.

I bought expensive rotors back when I had my Marquis and they warped over and over again. Bought cheapies from Pepboys and never had a problem. Since then I buy the least expensive rotors and ceramics pads, rears get the same but I use semi's as thats what usually in stock.

There was a company on eBay called R1 who once was on LVC offering discounts to members. I bought 2 sets from them and was very pleased. I'd put money they get their parts from the same places.

R1 Concepts

I've bought 2 sets of rotors from them on eBay. They sell good quality stuff and seem to be a really good company.

I bought one set in Mark VIII bolt pattern, and then when I hubswapped/Cobra brake swapped, I bought from them again. I've had no problems with them whatsoever...

Just my 2 cents.

Cheap rotors good pads that is the model I have always used. B grade steel high recycle content makes them cheap.

Add yet another recommendation for R1 Concepts. When I first got my Mark VIII, I was was warping rotors left and right (I blame it on HIGHLY spirited driving and continuous corner carving heating up the brakes). After warping my second set of OEM-style rotors, I bought a set of drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads from R1 Concepts, and never had any more issues with warped rotors or brake fade from heat in the 3 or so years I drove the car (HARD) after that.

I've got r1 rotors on my car also..they are ok rotors, no complaints.. they are 13" cobra fronts 11" cobra rears
