I'm looking for a stock stereo for my '00 LS v6 manufactured in '99. mainly because i need the steering controls and to replace my stolen head unit. However, i'm seeing many different part numbers and I am unable to distinguish the difference between them. As far as i know, my car comes with the cd changer in the glove box. Can someone direct me to the proper stereo? Thanks.

Yes, via line out converter. It's not the best way to hook up a system but it's a way nonetheless. Plenty of threads on this site as well as many other sites regarding it.
as jm said yes. I might still have my old one ill look. if I do I give it to you. It sounded ok you just cant to much as far as any advanced setting go. You are limited to what the stock head unit allows.
