06 LSE bumper. A deal?

I was talking about the bumper. I need a grill too though. Since I already went thru the trouble to install angel eyes I would like to keep my headlights and I have HIDS as well.
Does anyone have pics of a gen2 bumper with gen 1 lights?

You would have an easier time selling your gen I headlights and throwing angel's into the gen II lights. Honestly, the gen II oem hid's are better than any hid kit. You can change bulbs to get the color you want and the headlight looks more modern.

But they have to be cut open, although a couple guys on here can do it for you.

I bought one from that site. 365.00 with shipping! It came in last week but I haven't had time to open it. Thank you guys for all your knowledge. I love this site!

Remember to tell your body guy that the Prestige site says no wet sanding.

Yeah I will! I plan on painting it cashmere tricoat and painting the side skirts the same if I don't find any lse skirts before spring. I don't see alot that color on this site.

I had a TERRIBLE experience with Prestige bumpers. I would recommend avoiding them. I eventually just ordered a new LSE bumper from Tasca and in the long run, was fine paying a bit more to ensure better quality

So issues did you have. I will be opening mine tomorrow any thing I should look out for?

They had two LSE bumpers. One from an 00-02 and one from an 06. I specifically called to ensure it was an 06 and sent emails to confirm (I have the emails to prove it). They told me they would send me the 06. When it arrived, they had sent me the 02. I called and received no response. I called three more times the same day and they never answered even after I left messages. Finally they called me back late the next day and I told them they sent me an 02 bumper since it had the holes for the marker lights on the side. They argued and said all LSE bumpers are the same. I sent them a picture of both bumpers and they finally agreed. From the time I got the bumper until the time they finally agreed to send me a new one, it was nearly a full week. Anyway, they told me to leave the bumper on my porch and they would schedule a pick up from Fedex. Several days went by (with the bumper on my front porch) and Fedex never came. I called them again and they said they were sorry but they forgot to schedule a pick up. Finally, a couple days later Fedex picked up the bumper and they sent me the new one. After a few days, the new bumper came. It was the correct bumper but there was a huge dent in the front. I took pics and sent the pics to them via email (I still have the pics somewhere). They didn't respond. I called the next day and they didn't answer. Two days later they finally responded and said they would schedule a Fedex pick up. As usual, several days went by and the bumper was still sitting on my porch. I had the pleasure of trying to get ahold of them again to see what the deal was with Fedex. After another day and several phone calls/voicemails, they finally had it picked up.

The positives were that they finally did fully refund my money and they arranged and paid for return shipping (which they certainly should have).

The negatives were terrible customer service, sending the wrong bumper at first, then sending a damaged bumper. It was an ordeal that stretched over a three week period. The ladies that answer the phone know nothing about bumpers and although they were pleasant enough, they don't seem to take their job too seriously or care all that much about their customers.

I've heard some good things about them but my experience was horrible. Hope you have better luck.

Wow that really sounds like a disaster. I want to open my bumper right now after reading that story. Glad you gotten everything worked out!

What's a good place to find a 2006 stock front bumper? Are all 2006's LSE? I have wood grain on my steering wheel if that helps (I remember reading that if you have wood grain on your steering wheel then you have an LSE, feel free to clarify)

If thats the case, i have a 2000 lse. My car has wood everywhere lol

All 06s have the lse appearance
