Been putting it off but I have to sell something

Someone here HAS to buy your mark don!..or at least an enthusiast.

That guy was going to be me until I sealed the deal with Thomas on his supercharged 97. At one point, this was my second option. $9500 for a turn-key 11 second pump gas car is a steal of a deal and it only has 63K. Don's car is faster than chit and still has more left on the plate, and that's what I like about it. BUT Don, I hope you sell the Fusion first and can keep the 93. That is a badass car that I would have trouble parting with if I was in your shoes.

damn man, start selling drugs, commit isurance fraud i know some good ole boys in mississippi that spent a couple of years in the fed pen for having people wear football helmets, want his info, wreck that fusion.

I feel your pain sir, I am starting a new job this coming thursday and it is nothing compared to the last one where I was laid off from. I was at the point where I was going to start applying at temp agencies. My 18 year old was lined with a couple temp agencies and they were paying 10-11 an hour for assembly work. Here in MN there are tons of these outfits. Just an idea.

I am attempting to transition out the education field where I have been a teacher for the last 18 years. Let me tell ya most people in hiring positions are not to fond of us former educators. Fortunately I saw this coming a few years ago and we made a mad dash to eliminate debt.

Nice to F'n gallon of gas hit $4 here too!!!

I wish you luck and hope you can keep your Mark.

+1 $200 and I'll torch it(:

In the Craigs list add I didn't put my phone number so first contact would be by e-mail only. I've sold things before and got the usual Nigerians or crooks saying they are out of country and will pay by check and an agent will come by and pick it up with the usual poor English and spelling . There getting much better. Ive had two out of country service men who want to buy it as a gift for there father and will pay for it with pay-pal or check. And of course someone will come by and pick it up. Two of them from two different addresses and word for word. I've had three of them wanting my address and phone number so they can come by after 5:00 and pay cash for it. Three of them same word for word. If they get much better we could have a real problem.

Craigslist has gone from bad to worse when it comes to spam.

I just create a new online email "yahoo" just for the ad and ask in the ad to send name and phone number if interested in what is up for sale/rent.

Then respond by phone to the e-mails that look legit.
Total PITA.

Anyone wanting a turn key mid 11 car is stupid for not jumping on this.
Honestly....you can't build it for what your asking.
With that said...I still hope you don't sell it. :(

Don, I feel your pain. I got endless spam emails of the same type you are getting when I was selling a boat I had. My suggestion would be to go back to your ad and request that potential buyers put a specific phrase of some sort in the subject line to weed out potential spammers. It may not weed them all out, but it will save you some time and any email you get that does not have that particular phrase, delete it without wasting time reading it.

Thanks thats some good ideas. I am just amazed how long and openly these criminals have been operating and improving.

I was driving home yesterday and heard a commercial on the radio from a company about 30 miles up interstate 95 from me wanting CNC machinist. Sent them a resume :).

Don forget Craigslist..post your 93 on racingjunk.com and ad a whole bunch of tags includig the phrase "mustang" or "cobra"...that site gets a sh*t load of hits daily, and people there would be much more understanding of what your car is and be willing to pay what you're asking...Craigslist just has ad seekers looking for cheap sh*t...I mean let's be honest we all scroll those ads looking for good deals..

Don's car is cheap and a good deal. It runs 11s! <That's what I say to the retards browsing CL followed by one of these: :bash:

A person couldn't come near an SVT Cobra or any blown Mustang for this price.

true it IS cheap for an 11 sec clean low mile mark viii..but unfortunately people see other cars there going for 1/4 the asking price and just want to low ball him..it's kind of a waste of time dealing with most people he gets emails from via craigslist.
