OUCH!!!! Thats going to leave a mark!!!!

Noice! Lemme know if ya wanna grab a meal or something at one of the local brewerys. Best place to get a good burger in A2 in my opinion.

I thought about approaching you on that.

Trouble is, I'm gonna have my helper with me and picking up 3 more labours in town near Detroit border,
we have a whole trailer to unload by hand, going to take most of the day.

If I was going to overnight it again for a second night, I would ...
but my plans are to do the 9hr drive back home to be ready for work the next day to
max out my weeks worth.

Can I hit you up during the winter/spring months when I run freight by myself ? (more time)

I often come through that way, mostly through Sarnia, ON.
frequent the Federal Correctional Institute in Milan, MI with freight.

As a matter of a fact, you know the Tim Hortons @ US12 & I94 on Michigan Ave.
right at the intersection, the one with the dead-end turn around ?

I'm often overnighting it there or the last rest stop on I94 before US12 turn off.

I have to hit the 180A exit to get onto US23 to head for Milan.

I should be doing some more of those runs this Winter/Spring.

Maybe I could buy you a beer then!

Lol sh*t man thats crazy. You've been coming through the areas I grew up in this whole time. You know Saline? Its basically north north west of Milan on US12. Thats the town I grew up in. What do you head to Milan for? My understanding is there isnt anything there but Meth hahaha

Definitely let me know man. I would be down for sure. I can pick ya up in the LS from where ever your overnighting and we could head out for a burger and some beers or something.

Cool !

yeah, Saline as well, the lady's Prison.
We bring stuff from Canada to the US prision, get them poor saps to put it together.
Made to order for further distributions into the US by other companies.
They make more then license plates nowadays.

but yeah, I'd love that for sure. first trip back out that way with that freight,
I'll PM you and we'll exchange numbers, we could text when I get close to the Tim Hortons.

Oh damn thats crazy lol. Didnt know they did that there. Been driving by that prison since I was a wee lad. Let me know man

I love the signage on US23. "Prison Area - Do not pick up Hitchhickers"

I'll let you know for sure.

"hey there, thats a sweet orange jump suit, what a ride?"

"no, sorry, i left my bolt cutters in my work truck"

"that a sweet spider tattoo you have on you neck"

Lol my buddy lives literally across the street from the prison. When he was 13 or so he got off the bus and saw a dude in all black hiding under a tree while walking down his driveway (he lives far back in the woods by the prison there). He freaked out and ran the rest of the way to his house as you could imagine. Ends up there was an escaped convict and that was one of the jails snipers trying to find him hahaha

I go in and out of the gates, litterally on the premises at the loading docks.
They search my entire rig on the way in and verify it's empty on the way out.
Search it top to bottom with mirrors and all. Looking under the hood as well.

I have to hand over everything, I know the routine, so I have it all in a plastic bag all ready for them.

I loose everything from bolt cutters, camera's, cell phones, lighters, cigarettes to
my laptop, my entire tool bag, all my ID, box cutters and so on.

I get escorted by armed guards, at walking speed to the docks.
I have to remain inside the truck cab with the doors locked as I get unloaded.

I get everything back on the way out. double screened fencing.
they don't f*ck around at the Milan facilities.

I do another one in PA, it's min security, no fences and I just drive in and walk inside
and see the Supervisor amidts all the prisoners working the docks.

Another one in VA, I only drop the trailer outside the compound and only get it back
four hours later even if it's done being unloaded before the four hours are up.

They only open the gates for deliveries twice per day, morning and afternoon.

Pretty crazy sh*t but it's all worth it when I look in my bank account every week.

Anyways ... too much information.

~ I hope Rollin's gash on his head heals up fast for him.
