Fog Color match

So I bought these fog lights from DDM (http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/H11-LED). I love the color, they are white and almost slightly blue, but my HIDs have more yellow in them. Any idea on what color degree these LEDs would be so I can match my HIDs to them? Ill upload a picture of what the two lights look like in a few hours, but I cant get to that at the moment. Stock HIDs are like 5300 or something? And pure white is 6000? Anyone have any experience with these?
 
Wait... is that 5050 smd that the bulb has the same as saying 5050K?

Edit: SMD means surface mounted device, but the 5050 might be the rating anyway... so maybe the stock HIDs are 4300
Edit 2: Stock HIDs are around 4300k, I'm guessing that 5050 means 5050k so yeah, theres some information for anyone who buys from DDM lol
 
Stock bulb is D2R. OEM color starts around 4300k but with age they tend to be more towards 5000k. 5000k is white, 6000k is white with a hint of blue. I'm not sure if LEDs are rated the same way in temp but that might be the color they're comparable to.

Yeah thats what I'm thinking. The fogs look white and definitely make my HIDs look more yellowish. I'll order some 5Ks and see whats up
 
I got the osram 5000k lamps for my hids and they match my 5000k led fogs great

I got the new version of the vled LEDs (not as bright as the old ones) and they arnt nearly as bright as the HIDs but, they're both the same color. What I would call pure white.

I thought you were talking about replacing the factory HID bulb with an aftermarket bulb.
 
So I got some 5K D2Rs from DDM. Love the color, but guess what?! My fogs are more purplish then they are... My fogs are H11s from DDM also and I bought the 'white' ones but yeah, not so much. Has anyone got a suggestion for a 5000k led fog light?
 
I realized you can't have a perfect match. What you see might be the same color temp but you're viewing it differently. It's hard to describe. I purchased all of my bulbs from the same distributor at the same time. They look different. They are the same color temp but because they are projected differently, HID reflector vs. halogen, they look different.

Also, if you purchased your fogs prior to the others, it's possible for your fog bulbs to have color shifted already :/
 
Yeah, I tried taking a picture, and Ill try again tonight when it gets dark, but they look EXACTLY the same in the picture, even zoomed in in photoshop. I hate being a human sometimes lol
 
Yeh some cameras won't pick it up. I still haven't figured it out on mine to pick up the angel eyes. I don't think it can though.
