Does anyone here have a Koolatron Drive N' Grill?

I find myself on the go and stuck in rush hour traffic daily. This could really be a time saver for my evening routine. I could cook up a steak or a burger on my way home and save myself the prep/cook time I normally have to do at home. It's even non stick and will be easy to clean. Anyone ever done any cooking in their LS?

A few weeks ago, my cumpare used his Drive N' Grill to cook some burgers for the firemen, as they extracted the victims out of the car he rear-ended (while cooking himself a burger).

I already have a Wheelmate Laptop Steering Wheel Desk that I use to turn my car into a mobile office. Problem is, I have trouble turning my wheel and driving in conditions outside of straight lines.

The laptop desk also doubles as a great table for the burgers. I'm currently working on perfecting the mobile fry vat. My first attempt went wrong when I turned a corner and got scalded and permanently disfigured from the boiling grease. On a good note, the fries were delicious...

i just throw some meat and veggies in a tin foil pouch and tuck them around the motor, by the time i get home, my hobo dinners are cooked to perfection!

+1 for the hobo dinners. Or just cutout the cooking/prep time completely and pull up to your friendly neighborhood restaurant dumpster and get yourself a good used meal. Hey we buy used cars all the time.

You probably have to have reservations for the good dumpsters. Anyway, I like my food hot and reasonably free of human DNA.

I use two of them. One of the great things about the Gen II LS is the double power points on the center console. I over eat, so I like to cook 2 burgers. I am also very picky and like the buns toasted, so having two of the drive-n-grills is essential. Thanks Lincoln for thinking ahead and putting 2 power points there.

Just think, in winter they can double as a seat heater aka "bun warmer".

Don't forget dessert, slap some cookies on your dash board in the afternoon and by the time you reach the end of your drive home *ding* cookies are done.

The wheelmate is clutch. I use it to hold my contact lens case while I put them in on my way to work.

This was leftovers at the track from the night before's dinner. This was also after a run or two down the track. Worked like a charm :D

Dunno if that's a joke, Tommy. But I too am guilty of heating food on the engine. I just reheated some chicken during a long ride to a delivery site. Worked great for me.

No joke. This was me and another guy down in Atlanta back in, I think, 2009. It was his rental Ford Escape that he used to run time trials. lol
