A Uncle of mine sent me a e-mail of about a dozen actual billboards of interest. I thought I would pass on the best. I hope Ford takes notice.
I do have to respect that Ford didn't take the bail out. That says a lot for the company. I just wish they would start building some real cars instead of all these wrong-wheel-drive jokes on wheels. Even Toyota is now jumping on the RWD bandwagon. They even put "REAR-WHEEL-DRIVE" in big bold letters in their new FR-S commercial. And Kia is getting ready to release a RWD sedan based on the Hyundai Equus here in the 'States. Toyota, Hyundai, Kia...all known for FWD econoboxes. If they're going RWD, you know there's got to be a trend. Why isn't Ford watching and learning from what the other companies are doing? RWD is making a BIG comeback lately. I even read that Buick is getting a new RWD Rivierea based on the upcoming RWD Cadillac ATS platform. Where's Ford in all these RWD reindeer games?
"Sideways V-6"
"Bland Styling"
"Wrong-Wheel-Drive"
"Want a Driver's Car?"
"Buy Cadillac, Hyundai, Toyota, or any number of other brands..."
patience young grasshopper... they will.
they just announced that Lincoln has asked for access to the next Mustang, with independent rear suspension and a lot of other goodies.
i want a new mark with the new 5.0 in it!
