Tru-Cool 40,000#gvw stacked plate cooler. Many of the guys with big stalls are running this one. DLF, Mike Schultz, Driller, me, and I'm sure there are others. If you're on a stock converter it may be "Too-Cool" LOL

Looks like this thing could cool a big rig lol. Did you have to buy anything else to get it installed?

Not that I recall. I'm almost certain it came with everything needed to hook it up. Mine is behind the front bumper in front of the radiator.

And yes, it does its job. I was reading under 170 degrees via scan gauge after 20 minutes of spirited driving in the middle of summer. I borrowed my buddy's gauge just to see how efficient it was and that's what I came up with. Good enough for me! ;)

I know it works well but I am a bit concerned of adding weight to the front end. Any idea how much it weighs?

Are there any issues with it blocking too much flow into the radiator? Also what did you mount it to?

Doug, do you remember what size fittings these are going into the trans? Nice install btw.

Doug working in comfort I see. A/C on the wall in the garage! Might as well be comfortable in the man cave

I just had a set of lines made up in stainless for a car that's currently on my lift.

That one is a little rusty, looks like it will need ps lines in the future. No where near as clean as your car.

I'm running the B&M 70266 without issue in the XR7. Pan temps typically stay right around 150*, with ~170* being the highest I've ever seen on the gauge (after running hard then sitting in prolonged traffic).

The PS pressure line has been changed as well. And it is more than a little rusty.

Long Tru-Cool 40000 GVW (LPD4739-1) here as well. you can get them with a bypass they recommend in the cold weather under 32*F (with the -1 at the end is without the bypass btw, a couple bucks cheaper.) I used Parker push-lock hose and fittings with Swagelok fittings form the trans to hose...
