For me it was more like an hour than a moment haha. I was driving up to my girl friends after a shift at work. Normally I take the highway which is like 2 turns and I'm there. I just got this urge to get off the highway and back road it up to East Lansing, so I did. I rolled all the windows down, opened the sun roof, and turned off the music. I used to my phone to basically pick the route with the most turns in it and floored the gas all the way there. It was fu*king awesome. This cars handling is a dream. I was taking turns rated for 25 at 40 and 35 at 65 no problem. I really truely fell in love with my car on this ride. It was some of the most fun I've had, ever :D Just cruising fast as hell around turns in the dead of night, windows down, engine roaring (as much as it can without aftermarket exhaust :rolleyes:), listening to the K&N suck in air. It was freaking awesome haha. How about you guys? Was there like "That Moment" when you were like "Fu*k yeah!"?

Heres the route I took. I suggest zooming in a little to actually see the curves. Note google maps says it takes about 2 hours. I did it in 1 :D

*pinches bridge of nose* In response to your story lol.

It was love at first misfire. Seriously it was the first wash/wax after getting the windows tinted and taking my first off/on ramp in sst.

The hitting a deer possibility is always in the back of my mind in rural areas.

This is a fun drive for me on the way to the lake, just did it on Tuesday as a matter of fact: Google Maps

Hell yeah that drive looks awesome

This drive is considered to be the best drive in MI. I've done it in my old crown vic but I cant wait to do it in my LS. Its along the coast and the dunes and is absolutely amazingly beautiful. My aunt lives right off the highway towards the beginning so hopefully Ill head up there this summer for a week and drive this route. Theres definitely a reason its called a scenic route;

Driving the Pacific Coast Highway (Hwy 1) north od Hearst Castle I chased a Mustang and two motorcycles into the turnouts. I was able to easily double the recommended corner speeds. I think the moment of first love comes at first corner taken at any kind of fun speed!

I like this drive to build up my endurance. :p Probably come across some fun driving along the way as well, I mean you'll have over 5 days to do find some anyway.

I don't have LS, i got a 95 mark viii. Its stock except for a custom catback with flow 40s. One time i was allowed to drive home i roasted the tires :) That was one time i fell in love with it, classy and powerful you can't go wrong with the two lol.

Last year I took the Cbr1000rr to the Dragon in TN. I sold it in March so I guess it will be the LS this year. :)

While I drove up for the first time to buy it....Seeing it sitting there in an empty church parking lot w/ previous owner, I knew it was a done deal.

Lol I get that man. When I arrived at the dealership and saw it I was just like "Aw man I'm gonna spend some money today..." haha

On a more serious not though US 12 from Coldwater to Ann Arbor is a nice drive, might not be scenic but it's one that will take you through some curves. I was excited going through them in my truck, could only imagine taking them in the LS. Do you see what you started, now I'm taking the long way home lol. Thread jacking is over, carry on fellow LS enthusiasts.

i think its when i put in my wannabe lse grill and dropped new wheels on the LS. thats when it really made me feel like, wow, this car`s sexy!!!

After my first mod, exhaust, and every mod after that. After I pick it up from it being at the paint shop, dearlship, auto body, or any other shop getting work done for days. For sure, when I pick it up from the performance shop after a year long wait.
