Chesebro attorney argues client never believed Trump’s ‘big lie’ of election fraud

Kenneth Chesebro, one of former President Trump’s 18 co-defendants in the George election fraud case, didn’t truly believe the 2020 election was stolen, according to his attorney.

“First of all, Mr. Chesebro never believed in ‘the Big Lie,’” attorney Scott Grubman said Saturday in an interview on MSNBC. “If you ask Mr. Chesebro today who won the 2020 presidential election, he would say Joe Biden.”

Chesebro became the second of Trump’s former lawyers to accept a plea agreement in the case brought by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. He pleaded guilty Friday to conspiracy to file false documents relating to his attempts to set up a regime of fake electoral college votes in Georgia. His trial was scheduled to start Monday.

Another close Trump ally has flipped in the GA case. Trump and Trumpers must be sweat'n hard :)

Jenna Ellis becomes latest Trump lawyer to plead guilty over efforts to overturn Georgia's election

Attorney and prominent conservative media figure Jenna Ellis pleaded guilty on Tuesday to a felony charge over efforts to overturn Donald Trump’s 2020 election loss in Georgia, tearfully telling the judge she looks back on that time with “deep remorse.”

Ellis, the fourth defendant in the case to enter into a plea deal with prosecutors, was a vocal part of Trump’s reelection campaign in the last presidential cycle and was charged alongside the Republican former president and 17 others with violating the state’s anti-racketeering law.

Ellis pleaded guilty to one felony count of aiding and abetting false statements and writings. She had been facing charges of violating Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act and soliciting the violation of oath by a public officer, both felonies.

And another domino falls...

Trumpers are sweaty.

During his Far-Right rally in New Hampshire today, Trump did the following:

-Named Obama as the current president and attacked his policies (Biden is president)
-Praised Xi Jinping, Vladimir Puton and Kim Jong Un
-Attacked Jack Smith, Smith's wife and children

As always, stay classy, Trumpers.

"If he wins another term, Mr. Trump has said he would use the Justice Department to have his adversaries investigated and charged with crimes, including saying in June that he would appoint “a real special prosecutor to go after” President Biden and his family. He later declared in an interview with Univision that he could, if someone challenged him politically, have that person indicted." -Snip

Just like Trump's unhinged vengeance rants in 2016 while running. Trumpers cheered then, they're cheering now, even though Trump didn't "LOCK HER UP!" like he promised. Trumpers are so dense and easily manipulated.

Pence told Jan. 6 special counsel harrowing details about 2020 aftermath, warnings to Trump: Sources

The former VP is the top official known to have spoken with investigators.

Speaking with special counsel Jack Smith's team earlier this year, former Vice President Mike Pence offered harrowing details about how, in the wake of the 2020 presidential election, then-President Donald Trump surrounded himself with "crank" attorneys, espoused "un-American" legal theories, and almost pushed the country toward a "constitutional crisis," according to sources familiar with what Pence told investigators.

Oh Trumpers, you're just not good people. SMH.

Appeals court says Trump isn't immune from Jan. 6 riot lawsuits

https://www.npr.org/2023/12/01/1216541738/appeals-court-trump-immunity-jan-6-riot-lawsuits

Former President Donald Trump is not immune from being sued over the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, a federal appeals court ruled Friday, clearing the way for lawsuits filed against him in connection with the deadly riot.

The ruling from a three-judge panel on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit stems from several lawsuits brought by Capitol Police officers and Democratic members of Congress seeking civil damages from Trump related to the events of Jan. 6, 2021.

Let the lawsuits being. Trump's going to have Trumper domestic terrorist who are in prison because of him, suing him :)

Schadenfreude levels rising.

‘Whatever it takes’: Liz Cheney mulls third-party run to block Trump victory

Ex-Republican congresswoman gives clearest indication she could mount challenge with new party, calling it' ‘the cause of our time’

Liz Cheney, a leading Republican critic and antagonist of Donald Trump, has said she is considering mounting her own third-party candidacy for the White House, as part of her effort to thwart the former president from returning to the Oval Office.

Once again, it's scary that Liz Cheney is the voice of reason and patriotism in the new Republican/Trumplican party. I don't agree with most of her politics, but she cares about this country and is a patriot, in a party that nigh completely lacks them with their pro-election theft and pro-insurrection views.

There you go, seems you're asking what I think about Ben Carson?

I think he's a deplorable, he supports Trump's attempt at stealing with the 2020 election and he supports the Jan 6th insurrection and attempted coup.

Fake Donald Trump electors settle civil lawsuit in Wisconsin, agree that President Biden won

Ten Republicans who posed as fake electors for former President Donald Trump in Wisconsin and filed paperwork falsely saying he had won the battleground state have settled a civil lawsuit and admitted their actions were part of an effort to overturn President Joe Biden’s victory, attorneys who filed the case announced Wednesday. -snip

It only took these Trumpers three+ years to admit their orange messiah lost. Better than most Trumpers (some here) who still think he won.

Trump draws Nazi comparisons with immigration rhetoric

Former President Trump is escalating his rhetoric around immigration with less than a month to go before the Iowa caucuses — even as the Biden campaign counterattacks by arguing he is parroting Nazis.

Trump in separate events over the weekend claimed migrants were “poisoning the blood of our country” and posed an increased terrorism risk, and he equated the influx of migrants at the southern border to an invasion.

Trump taking talking points right out of Hitler's Mein Kampf again. Trumpers of course cheer and repeat the incendiary rhetoric like cultist.

A judge rules Rudy Giuliani must immediately pay $148 million to two election workers

District Judge Beryl Howell ruled Wednesday that Giuliani must immediately pay the sum an eight-person jury awarded last week. A few days before that, the women sued Giuliani again, asking the the courts to permanently ban him from speaking about them. -snip

Schadenfreude. Levels. Rising!

If Rudy's good buddy Trump won't bail him out, maybe Rudy can ask his Russian friends for the money.
