OK I had an other brain fart ...

To help draw more cold air into the Air Intake box ... I cut off the resonator lungs and closed off access to the silencers and also cut off the intake tube.

I was thinking that instead of air just being sucked up into the box it may be force more into the box. Would it really do this or just a waist of time?

I know that because it sits behind the bumper and in the wheel well that the air isn't moving too much... but ...

Just one of those brain farts ... the Ford Designers must have thought that the original design would draw air up.

It couldn't hurt at least you cut off the restrictive end to the silencer. If it doesn't work as a ram air it will still make the motor pull in cold fresh air from under the inner fender. I would run it.

Ok, here's what you need to do, get one of these!

Drill some holes through your hood above your air cleaner!

Fashion something like this over the holes!
