Haven't seen Maxx but I will e-mail him as well. I think I want to try and tackle this myself has anyone else done it? I heard I will need one of these: http://www.harborfreight.com/3-in-1-ball-joint-u-joint-c-frame-press-service-kit-38335.html Anything else I would need to buy?

I haven't tackle this one yet, but I do know that you will need this kit to press the ball joint out of the steering knuckle. As well as press it in. You can also rent it from your local parts store. I have also seen someone use a vice to press it out on youtube. Maybe something to check out.

any one have any experience with deutschepartsusa ball joints... other then my neg one? I bought these off ebay and the boot ripped in a few months and the joint had play in it in about a year..
how are the moogs? good quality? do the boots last?
can I get OEM ones anywhere? mine lasted 65K... id be happy with another 65K
also do jag s type ones fit? thought maybe their dealers would have it.
my pass side one keeps getting loose too.

Moog is usually thought of as 'best quality'.

I have no complaints with the bremen techs I have either I believe they are on par with the moogs.
