Question for ya guys

Torrie said he still hasnt figured out how to get the v6 auto with sst shifter to go into first. Does anyone know of anyone else that does tunes for the LS?

Try Ills but I don't think he solved that one either. Torrie and Ills, I would say, have the most SCT XCAL tunning experience with the Lincoln LS.

no one has done this.

We only got the V8 working by using a European LS tune - and it does not work on all V8s.

maybe a dyno tune would solve that problem...and without the hickups the tune gets time to time that other members deal with

Pete - he's talking about the 'switch' in the software that would allow the SST mode to start the car in first from a dead start. This is an 'unpublished' setting and therefore SCT would have to reverse engineer it and then make it available to the tuner network.

Unlikely SCT will spend any time on this....

nah this is an instance where there is no difference between a custom dyno tune and a canned SCT tune file.

Strapping the car to a dyno isn't gonna automagically make something occur.

So this only affects the V6 in the sst mode? Leaving it in the regular auto setting will still allow it to function properly?

i love having a manual. but i had to get a custom dyno tune because sct didnt have anything for my ecu
