IIRC if your 360 is "online".(some kind of patch will be downloaded to the 360 automaticly) most of all of them should be backwards-compatable. Unless they have changed that on the later gen xbox 360's. Because my 360 will play Halo 1 which is one of the older games out there.
i think i cried, thats f'ed up....i laughed but when they pan in on his face i wanted to just beat the mom...that kids gunna wear his snazy new winter clothes to go steal himself a 360
No, the DVD player gets recognized by the Bios before the HDD .
Im assuming you tried more than one disc. If not go for it. If it was do to a copy/back up media it would not even play at all so something is either wrong with the disc or the DVD player.
Lay it on its side and give it a shot. Standing systems upright stresses the motor and lens. If its not a dirty lens its either on its way out is shot. Again the good part is that you can utilize many different drives, or even find lenses and motors cheap. Both on ebay.
Thats the 360 for ya. No mater how cool they are they just aren't reliable.
I would take it back and give em hell for it. They dont send them out like they claim they do. They usually don't even take much of a look at them.
I got about 4 bunk original Xbox's before I was lucky and came across a Halo XBOX and I had to venture to just about all Game stops in my area. In fact I know they dont look them over much cause the first out of this series had a bad soft mod on it. It would boot the hacked dash but not the MS dash like it was supposed to since it was setup to boot to the original form when you boot it up with the eject button ( allows you to play XBOX Live without detecting a hacked system ). Instead it came up with a error. I forget what the code was but the error code basically explained the MS dash ( factory dashboard ) was bad. That could have got them in some trouble cause it also had two small sized games on the HDD.
That video is horrible. I'm kinda pissed that Ace Combat 6 is only xbox 360, there's no good plane games for ps3, and my wii isn't as cool as I thought it'd be.
