I've had my car for 2 years now and every picture of member cars I see, I notice they have something that's not on mine lol.

I thought that the spare tire cover was supposed to have a square hole in it for a handle. But no, a latch goes there. Called the dealer $13 and will be ordering soon.

I just noticed that the front shock towers have covers on them. Mine does not. Is this stock or aftermarket. I looked on fordparts and couldn't find them.

I don't have any covers on the back of my seats that cover the tracks from being seen.

I'm missing the engine cover "screws" to hold it down.

I had to threaten the dealer I bought it from for the car jack, since it didn't have one. I know in Cali all cars have to be sold with a car jack.

My steering wheel didn't have the leather cover. I put on a black one the second day of owning it.

I had the dealer I bought it from order floor mats. They didn't order them, they just removed them from another car.

There's more that my car was missing but can't remember right now.

I don't have strut covers, the covers on the back of the seat racks. The seat racks is what puzzles me though, they have what looks like clip holes, they are both gone. Where the hell did those and my strut covers go? Who parts out a perfect car?

I am thankful for having that latch on the spare tire cover though. it will stay up for about five minutes then fall on your head for the little amount of time you'll spend under neath it.

Feel your pain on some of those.

Strut covers were eliminated in 2003 for cost savings. But you can go on eBay or to a junkyard and grab them off a gen 1 and they fit. I have two passenger strut covers on my 06.

I like the look of the tower and rail covers and will get them if I can find them for cheap. Maybe the guy I'm getting the covers off of might have both covers.

The gen II is missing a bracket for the driver side cover so you have to get two passenger side covers. Been there done that.

omg, that happens to me every time... You think I would learn my lesson

Strut covers were not provided for GenII LS's, only GenI had them.
You can buy them for a GenI and put them on a GenII.

Max can get them for you.

If you get two of the passenger side strut covers would they fit on the ones in the trunk?

Where can I find a picture of this spare tire cover latch you guys speak of? I'm pretty sure I don't have one either.

What bracket would that be?

I just checked under the hood and I have the hole for the clip coming from the round part of the cover.

That looks very nice compared to the hole I have. So I'm guessing it locks into place? My cover just seems like this piece of stiff cardboard with carpet on it.

It doesn't lock it in place. It covers the hole and when you lift the cover it latches to the top of the trunk under the window hold it up so you can do stuff under the cover without needing someone to hold or having it lay on your back or propping it up with your windshield wiper coolant bottle (like I do).

Edit: It's only $13 at your local dealer, but Maxx might be able to get it cheaper. I know if you order from him and you're outside of his state there's no taxes but there's shipping cost

yes all of the LS's have the hole for the push pin, but there is also a metal bracket that receives two more push pins to firmly hold in the piece, with out this bracket, the plastic part just flops around.

Can anyone with a Gen I post pictures of the brackets?
