there maybe more to it. For example, MPH and KM differences. Speedometer could act completely different on me, same for Odo since signal comes from PCM, not directly from VSS.
Just need to be sure I won't run into things like this.

Milage stored in cluster, speedo needle moves exactly same rate of speed Odometer is controlled by cluster...also speedo is controlled by abs on gen 2 speedo gets it signal from the wheel speed sensors..PCM get its from vss
