I wouldn't put a used one in there. That is unless you like doing this multiple times.........

I am a mechanic so taking it off and putting it on isn't that big of a deal. The one on my LS is starting to fail and I am looking for a used on to throw on there while I source the needed parts to rebuild my current one.

Chances are you just need the solenoid.

Have you tried a wrecking , er, recycling yard?

Solenoid is good, bearings are letting loose and the pulley and shaft are starting to move in and out at higher rpm. I have only checked with lkq through my work and even with our discount it was still salty. Plan on hitting the local pick-a-part this weekend if I can't source one before then.

Pick n pull is your best bet. Don't think I have one left in my pile, although I have several fan motors.
Good luck on the rebuild kit. Let me know if you find a source! I'd like to rebuild my steering pump instead of replacing it.
