I was looking at gettin heads from a 99+ Conti and using the 96-98 Cobra intake or maybe just my stock intake for now. I have a 1st Gen. The Conti heads are C heads correct? Do they have the same cams as the 99/01 Cobra? The intake on the Conti looks identical to the 1st gen Mark.

the Conti intake is pretty much a Gen1 intake.......a 'B' head intake.......instead of having IMRC's its got plates to bolt the intake up to the 'C' head.......so u get the plates u can bolt up a 'B' intake to the 'C' head........

i had a chance to get some Conti heads couple months back, but when i went back to the yard......the whole engine was GONE out of the car :(

Whichever they are, the Gen1 intake will not work on C heads.

The intake on the conti looks exactly like the Gen 1 Mark. I read somewhere they have something on them that allows the use of a B intake. Im not sure if whatever they come with is removable or not. But the conti heads are a lot cheaper then 99/01 Cobra heads I have been finding. And to be able to use them with the stock intake would be nice.

IIRC the conti intake manifold has the iac and the egr swapped, so it might not work, if your going with c heads just get a cobra intake that fits c heads, prob just as much fabrication as getting the conti intake to fit

If it were so, it would be all the rage - I don't understand how anything that bolts to the B heads would boltup to the C heads since the ports are different.
